Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.
Live the life you've imagined.
-Henry David Thoreau

This black and white tile is one of my favorite floorings...it exists in my dream kitchen and looks awesome with my white cabinetry.  Dreams are a great place to develop our ideal homes...when we can visualize the space, it can often become a reality.  It is also helpful for your decorator if you have done a little dreaming...it is like doing your homework...you know exactly what you want and how you want it.  If you come to my office, you will see my "field of dreams" on my wall by my workspace.  Aside from my incredible kitchen, there's a lovely lake house with a huge wrap around porch, gentle breezes billowing the sails on my boat...but I digress.

Before you spend money on your home, spend a little time with some magazines and start dreaming...what is your ideal?  How can we make it come true?  Michelangelo said it best: "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."  Make sure to take some time today to dream big dreams!

P.S.  Exciting news...many of you know that I am in real estate school studying for my license.  We are almost done with the classes, and soon it will be test time...wish me luck!
